YWCA Programs

The roots of gender and racial inequality are deep and pervasive. For over 100 years, the YWCA of Lancaster has been committed to eliminating racism and empowering women. Yet, there is still work to be done -- children to be cared for, women to acheive their full potential, and equality to be afforded to all.

With its rich history, the YWCA remains steadfast in our commitments, structuring many of our programs to support the principles we have embraced. We not only intend to raise awareness of the issues, we intend to affect real change.

We work proactively and collaboratively to identify and address the needs of our diverse community. Our goal is to assist individuals to achieve their potential and enrich their quality of life.
